Fernando y Gery
Recently they were already in the Netherlands but have been back for a few workshops. If you ever have a workshop of them it is certainly recommended. Check also their website for their workshops www.fernandoygery.com.ar' .
Dear visitors,
As you can see the whole layout of our website has changed. I'll try to get some more info on this site and maybe I'll also update it more frequent.
The new design is inspired by the 'Zenlike' design from NodeThirtyThree Design
Despite the fact I know that some people actually prefer to be able to read this page in Dutch I've decided for now to have it in English. However it's not my native language so there can be some words or sentences used or written in a wrong way. Please be so kind to share this mistakes so I can improve and learn from them.

Follow your embrace. A great title and something to think of. Yesterday night at the tangosalon La Bruja there was a rather great performance that any tanguero should inspire and give thoughts. These thoughts are about giving and receiving imprints of the embrace and the journey they travel with you. I really want to thank Andrea Uchitel for the great experience of also visualizing this with interactive painting.
Yesterday evening Sexteto Milonguero was performing at the Academia de Tango. They are enthusiast musicians and are really able to entertain with a great performance and danceable music. They have bin to the Academia before and are able to get a full crowded dancing arena. Even people that almost never visit the Academia are visiting when Sexteto Milonguero is playing. They played also played a Chacarera song which is a type of folk music. One of the great moments was the Double Bass (or Contrabass) solo. So if you're in the mood and they play in your neighborhood it's worth a visit.
We started dancing tango in our home town Alkmaar at 'De Tangostudio' we are still dancing there almost every Friday and Sunday. The people as well as the hosts make you feel at home and part of the family. This is where we had our first glimpsy on the Tango world. Not knowing there was much more to get and that it could become an addiction in some sense. If you're a tango dancer you can enjoy in Alkmaar.
In the weekend starting on friday the third of april Detlef and Melina where in Amsterdam to spread their tango ideas amongst the Amsterdam tango scene. They where invited by Sebastián Coli Bazzini from eltango.nl. They even stayed longer to also enjoy el yuyo where Jur was playing vinyl records instead of his regular laptop gigs. On both Saturday and Sunday they gave workshops. We went to the Sundays workshops and can advice to go to their workshop if you have the oppurtunity.
